A reply msg to a staff questioned about a forced leaves during last cuti raya period...
Dear friends;
They hv to coz the office will be closed...we hv to sacrifice to save a bit of our operating cost by closing off the office esp during ths non productive period during hari raya week esp when majority of staff are on leave. If we open our office during these days, a lot majority of us will be on leave, there's nothing much tht you can do and be productive, even aircond, electricity etc will hv to be ON even if one one staff is in the office. Our company is not in good shape. We can blame anyone and everyone but at the end of the day we are in this ship, sink or not it's our call. This year is really a bad year for us, don't talk about bonus, if we can still earn our decent salary every month without a pay cut, tht's good enough for now. This is the time when our company needs us, we earn our living by working with xx. Now we hv to ask wht and how we can contribute to the company, even a single cent counts. We have around 24,ooo employees and thousands of offices throughout the nation. Can we imagine if we can save RM5/head on electricity bill for those 4 precious days, it's almost RM1/2 million already, it's huge number right now to xx. I trust our mgmt has deliberated ths matter thoroughly before they decided to close office during ths time. It's not an easy decision but they hv got to do wht they hv to do right now, to save the company, to save us, our job. Trust hurts but we have to swallow. So pls tell those who refused to apply to talk to me personally. I understand their predicement their frustration, but for our survival, to ensure we can still continue to be in existance in the near future, we need to sacrifice...
